March 15th
Monday Depart 8:30 AM from Tucumcari
we need to be in Albuquerque, NM at 12 noon for lunch at the Route 66 Casino
and meet with the local Chapter for a Special Event
The Laguna police to provide us with an escort through the Route 66 portion of our trip.
They will block off intersections, and make sure we have a safe passage back onto I-40.
I'm also working on getting an escort from the State Highway Patrol

We have a couple of GWRRA retired Police Officers that are members of CA-1F
They will lead the group into Mexico and we'll eat at a great Mexican Restaurant overlooking the bluffs
We shouldn't have any problems with these Officers leading us
Safety is first and foremost with GWRRA
You can not take any firearms across the border
You will receive a briefing in Phoenix
It is recommended that you leave your trailer in the US
Customs could decide to inspect and you would have to repack it
